Directions to the Library

If you approach McConnellsburg from the north via route 522 from the PA Turnpike, you will take the first right turn as soon as you enter the 'burg. This is North Street and it goes one block before curving into First Street. The Library is just ahead on the right. Parking lot is before the library

If you come from the west, take the "old 30" route which comes directly into the town and make the first left after passing Paws for Hope on your left. The library is about 1.5 blocks away. If you miss the turnoff and continue on the bypass, you will have an exit that will take you into town on 522. See directions above.

If you arrive from the east by way of Route 30 East from Chambersburg, take the exit for McConnellsburg/ 522 south and follow directions above.

If you arrive from the southwest via Route 16, you will enter the town to a “Y” intersection where you have the right of way. There will be a Citgo to your right and a Sheetz and MacDonald’s directly in front of you. Bear left and drive west through the town and through the two traffic lights. The next right hand turn after the second traffic light is First Street.

Program Phase 1

Our program will take place in the Green Room which is located in the bottom of the library. There is a large parking lot but be wary of a sharp little hill near the building itself just about dead center. We should be ready to fling open the doors soon after 9:15 A.M.

Should you wish to visit Tickle Your Fancy prior to the meeting, my sister Joyce will open the door at 9:00 A.M. Please do not feel any sense of obligation.

Our program is called Booze, Barns and Blooms and I am hoping everyone is psyched for a fun day. Lin Henry is so happy to welcome us to her community! Safe travels, All!
