The FSMA: The Real Risk from Tea and is it different than other herbs/why?The Administrative responsibilities of having a tea business....Required Record keeping, Compliance Dates

In the tea business since 1995, Anupa owns the Eco-Prima Tea Company and The Silver Tips Tea Room, both operating out of Westchester County, NY. Eco-Prima Tea Company is a high volume tea import company with a specialty in Darjeeling teas, holding the exclusive first right of refusal on the Makaibari Tea Estate. Eco-Prima is also well known for their large selection of certified organic and fair trade teas.

As such, Anupa has delved right into the FSMA regulations that will come to affect all of us in the business during 2018, which is the small business deadline for compliance. What do we need to know? What do we need to do? We are honored and privileged to have Anupa, not only as a member of MATBA, but to have her present on this topic over which many of us have expressed angst and confusion
