The Mid-Atlantic Tea Business Association, also known as MATBA, was founded in 2005 to advance the knowledge of tea through networking and educational opportunities for the tea entrepreneur in our member states, which include: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington DC. and West Virginia. In addition, we welcome Out-of-Region members.

Our quarterly meetings provide the opportunity to visit other tea businesses, be inspired and share tea with other colleagues. Join us to exchange ideas, discuss issues, educate yourself in new areas and tea trends, and network with other tea entrepreneurs. Our goal is to advance educational networking opportunity with fellow tea professionals. These meetings are typically held on Monday when many tea businesses are closed. Recently, meetings have been held via Zoom allowing all members, both in region and out of region to participate.
